Social Stories that teach the child of the many social interactions they will have as a child through adult life, and what the appropriate way to handle them are.
We leverage a strength that a child with autism typically is known for, which is "rote memory", to learn social skills and rules of the community to keep the child safe.
Rote learning is a memorization technique based on repetition. The idea is that one will be able to quickly recall the meaning of the material the more one repeats it.
We include a high school trainer, as younger children generally look up to them to learn.
All training is using evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis principles.
